Facility Sizing and Material Handling Requirements
New or retrofitted facilities and material handling systems are large investments for any company. TZA provides a detailed design of each of these components, allowing for accurate cost and return–on–investment analysis as part of your overall strategic network design.
Facility sizing is based on inventory projections and each distribution centers unique material handling requirements. Detailed drawing and support documents are provided which outline all major components of each facility and the associated material handling system. TZA's significant experience and database of information make our cost projections very accurate. An additional benefit is that the level of design work conducted in this phase allows our clients to quickly finalize facility and material handling designs, reducing further design costs and allowing for fast execution of the plan.
Once a final design is chosen, TZA will provide a high-level transition plan that supports the required change.
