JOB TITLE:  TRAINER - MANAGEMENT DEVELOPMENT

Location:  Long Grove, IL 60047

Business Area:  TZA’s Optimized Labor Performance program

JOB SUMMARY:

The Trainer is responsible for the professional delivery of our comprehensive series of management courses in support of our Optimized Labor Performance program.  Our results-oriented curriculum requires our trainers to be responsive to adult learners, sensitive and adaptable to all learning styles, perceptive, quick-witted, and highly motivational.  The professional trainer we seek will be an expert instructor and communicator, with strong attention to detail.  This opportunity is ideal for someone that enjoys different scenery from week to week .

RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:

  • Professional delivery of TZA courses to all levels within client organization, from warehouse associate to supervisor to upper management.
  • Establishing rapport both one-on-one and in group settings.
  • Providing effective instruction at client locations.  Travel typically includes flying out Monday morning and returning Thursday night.  A training day might be two four-hour split-shift sessions delivered within a 10 hour period.
  • Course design and development work.
  • Actively participate in continuous improvement processes.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Leadership, Management or related field
  • Minimum 2-5 years experience in management training/instruction
  • Willingness to travel 80% or more
  • Track record of success in independent operations as well as team projects
  • Outstanding verbal/written communication and interpersonal skills
  • Skilled with Microsoft Office applications
  • Knowledge of warehouse operations highly desired
