JOB TITLE:   BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT REPRESENTATIVE

Location:  Long Grove, IL 60047

Business Area:  Sales and Marketing

Nationally renowned Logistic Consulting and Software company is expanding and has immediate openings for New Business Development executives at their Long Grove, Illinois headquarters.

Responsibilities include outbound telephone solicitation to a designated data base for qualification and development of sales leads; follow up and qualification of web base prospect inquiries; facilitation of appointment setting and database management. This is an inside sales business development position with career opportunities throughout the company.

The ideal candidates will have the following qualifications:

  • The ability to create sales opportunities over the phone and develop rapport with prospective clients
  • Outstanding verbal/telephone skills as well as written skills for presenting a professional organization
  • Consultative selling experience a plus
  • Proven successful track record in achieving and exceeding organizational sales goals
  • Self-starter, goal-oriented, and motivated by financial rewards
  • Self-confident in a variety of settings with solid belief in his/her own success and capabilities
  • Professional, energetic phone presence
  • Solid follow-up and organizational skills
